Wow, R&B Singer Ashanti and Rapper Nelly have called it quits. Sources confirmed today that couple, who has been dating for nine years and counting, is indeed done. Question is- did Nelly's new boo Tae Heckard play a role in the big break up? While that has not been confirmed, there are many conclusions to be drawn from this. Starting with the huge tatoo stamped onto her lower back of Nelly's nickname, "Mo". I guess she has decided to reveal her role as Nelly's new boo as she instagrammed the above photo.

The union has been years in the making after Nelly met Tae on a video set almost 10 years ago.   The two remained friends and dated here and there, which led to Tae inking Nelly’s nickname “Mo” on her lower back.  The tattoo can be spotted in her 2005 spread in Smooth Magazine.




Correct me if I'm wrong but, Tae met Nelly ten years ago. However, the two dated here and there. I'm wondering- how; if he has been with Ashanti for nine years. Something is not adding up here. Nevertheless, Tae was featured as T.I.'s girlfriend in the movie ATL. She also,had a recurring role in several episodes of BET's The Game. She seems to play the side piece/groupie chic in most features. Which doesn't seem to differ much from her real life character.
