Shaunie O'neal Insists: I Didn't Fire Anyone

What Is This World Coming To? Shaunie O'neal is extremely upset these days insisting that she "Didn't Fire Anyone". As previously reported Shaunie Oneal did host an interview where she revealed that if it was up to her, three basketball wives would get the axe. Shortly afterwards, three basketball wives were fired from the show. Royce Reed, Jennifer Williams, and Kesha Nichols were the three who got the axe from the show. Shaunie did speak in reference to parting ways with three Basketball Wives, however she never named names. Apparently, Shaunie and the media company Shed is at odds with  the outcome because Shaunie wants them to know that she is extremely upset with their decision and will walk away from the show, if she doesn't agree with it's direction. Here is the story as I read it.

"Basketball Wives" star Shaunie O'Neal says it's not her fault three cast members were axed ... telling people she learned the news when everyone else did ... sources close to Shaunie tell TMZ 

As TMZ previously reported, three major "BB Wives" were canned recently -- Jennifer Williams, Royce Reed and Kesha Nichols. 

But Shaunie is telling friends, despite the accusations, the cuts were NOT made by her. Sources close to Shaunie (who is also an executive producer on the show) tell TMZ she was blindsided by the news. We're told Shaunie says the production company leaves her in the dark about everything after she butted heads with them over the violent direction the show was headed (i.e on-air brawls and cat-fights). 




I am honestly confused as to why Shaunie would voice her opinion about axing anyone from the show,and then act surprised when cast members are fired. I think they were just acting on something she suggested. She should have just kept it real and been honest in the interviews. If she went to the extremes of even mentioning that if it were up to her she would give three basketball wives the axe, she should have just named names, and then the media company would've known who to let go and who to keep.   What do you think? Basketball Wives Evelyn and Jennifer Have A Tearful Reconciliation

Basketball Wives' Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer finally reconciled in a very emotional part 2 of the reunion show. Apparently, during the lie detector test it was revealed that the two of them really had genuine regret for the way things panned out. This was extremely shocking to us viewers because Evelyn was on the war path the entire season. I guess it came from a place of hurt. I'm just glad to see that they did reconcile. I wonder if Jenn will be in the wedding?  Oh well, guess we'll just have to wait and see. Just In case you missed the show last night, here's the 411 as VH1 blogged.

All season long on Basketball Wives, on-camera and off, Evelyn and Jennifer have fought with one anther and declared their friendship dead. Even when I spoke to both of them an hour before taping, all either of them could say was how OVER IT they were, and they hoped the reunion taping would provide them with the closure they needed in order to move on already. They did not get their wish.

In a surprise moment that shocked even the two of them, as well as the whole cast, they were able to admit (at least indirectly, by way of a polygraph test) that they missed their friendship, and they came together to hug and talk things out. I was there and can promise you that this is a moment no one saw coming. If anything, the probability of a brawl was more likely, judging by the tense vibe backstage and the number of security guards lingering nearby. And yet here we all were, staring with mouths wide open as these frenemies wept over one another and admitted they missed each other. It was the biggest moment of the night without a doubt, and personally, I’m dying to know what y’all think of it. And we grabbed a few photos of them at the moment of their embrace below, too.

Ochocinco Signs With Miami Dolphins

Chad Ochocinco is officially a Miami Dolphin. This makes so much sense to me mainly because, it's no secret that most teams, whether NFL or NBA are not receptive to the heavy air time in the reality television circle. It has been evident for a while now that New England Patriots were not on the Chad Ochocinco reality T.V. band wagon.  However, HBO's reality show "Hard Knocks" is centered around the Miami Dolphins NFL Franchise. Chad Ochocinco, making the ultimate move, and signing with Miami Dolphins is going to definitely boost HBO's Hard Knocks ratings, while at the same time it allows Chad to have both a NFL career, without relinquishing him from the reality t.v. circuit. Now, Chad has all the airtime one could possible wish for, he will now be the center of two reality shows.


As previously reported, Chad will star in his very own reality show alongside "Basketball Wives" Evelyn Lozada, as the two have signed on to their very own reality show, that just happens to be centered around their engagement, and eventually their big day. I look forward to watching  Ochocinco both on the field and on the big screen. I guess Fabulous hit is on the head when he said" Like Lebrons, I'm taking my talent down to southbeach". Chad Ochocinco has decided to take his talents to South Beach. The veteran wide receiver signed a one-year deal with his hometown Miami Dolphins Monday night after working out with the team recently, per NFL.com.

Evelyn Lozada Finally Admits : She Misses Her Ex-Bestie Jennifer Williams

 Finally,  Basketball Wive's Reality Star Evelyn Lozada admits that she misses her ex- best friend Jennifer Williams.  Wow, Evelyn has done a great job this season, tormenting Jennifer every chance she got.  To hear that she actually admits to missing Jen is nothing short of  shocking.  Ev's explaination as to why the their friendship entered splitsville is mainly because, she felt that Jen was not loyal to her.  In a way, she was right, because time and time again, Jen's interviews and blogs would air an expose her feelings or lack there of  as it related to Evelyn and Ochocinco's relationship. Finally, Ev was fed up and like a ticking timebomb, she exploded.  However, Ev became a bit too much of  ticking time bomb as she was anything but candid as she was featured episode after episode, either verbally attacking Jennifer or threatening to physically attack her. 


Apparently now Ev realizes that her behavior was somewhat chaotic. Check out  Ev's Vibe interview where she addresses her beef with Jen, wedding plans, dropping her last name, and her new found friendship with Rihanna.

I think so. A lot was happening during that time. I’m one of those people, I said some things and I was just like, that was not cool. I live by loyalty and I feel like, at that point, I broke the friend code. I should have never broken that code and I should have never stooped down to that level. Like, if she wants to do interviews and slick comments, it is what it is. I don’t hate her. People just get caught up in this industry; you do interviews and say certain things. I truly don’t wish her anything negative, we’ve gone through a lot together as friends from moving out, men drama, all types of stuff. It’s just tough having to relive it then talk about it. You never have that time forhealing. But now that the show is done and things are calming down, I’m not angry anymore about it and I don’t hate her at all. I don’t really hate anybody, I was just upset how things were handled.

On whether she misses Jennifer Williams
I miss her. We were friends for 10 years. I was in her wedding, so you know yeah, and your thinking you guys are going to do this show together, your BFF, and then your kind of like what happened? And we are mutual friends with a lot of people, so everything else became weird energy. It was tough.

On how she developed thick skin
I’ve accepted that this is a part of my life and apart of my world now. The more the show became popular, and I started dating Chad, its been like chaos. I’m never going to hide and I’m always one of those people that say TV can be a gift and a curse, and at the same time it’s opened up doors for me that I never would have imagined.

We'll Ev owning our mistakes is sometimes just the medicine we need to help us grow. Maybe the two of them will reconcile.   Word from the wise,  lack of loyalty in friendships , can definitely be the way to assure they come to an end. 

Talks Of The Baskeball Wives Movies

Uh-oh, As if we haven't witnessed enough of the Basketball Wives drama on television weekly; there  seems to be a Basketball Wives Movie Deal on the table. In case you've been hibernating in a cave somewhere and, have absolutely no idea who or what the Basketball Wives are, they are a group of females, who at one point had some type of  association with an NBA player, (not necessarily the wives of NBA players). However, these women can never seen to have  a peaceful union. This VH1's reality show's ratings are through the roof, as we tune in, myself included weekly, to watch the drama and the fights unfold.  Now it seems that viewers can't get enough of them on the television so now, they are moving on to the big screen. According to NecoleBitchie,

In case you haven’t gotten enough of the hair pulling, table jumping, bottle throwing debacle that is Basketball Wives the reality show, the movie version may be coming to a theater near you. Last year, Shaunie O’Neal reached out to ‘Jumping The Broom’ producer Tracey Edmonds via twitter, after hitting the jackpot with the first few seasons of Basketball Wives and the two came together to develop a concept that they pitched to various studios. The untitled pitch was eventually picked up by Fox Searchlight films and is now in development with ‘Jumping The Broom’ writer Elizabeth Hunter on board to pen the script. According to Variety, the plot will revolve around a young woman who relocates to Miami with her boyfriend after he gets drafted to the NBA. For some reason Savannah Brinson or even Adrienne Bosh comes to mind but the film is suppose to be based on Shaunie and a few of her friends.

Royce Reed Blog's: "My Heart Hurts", After Dezmond Confesses

Oh no...Royce Reed is blogging about her latest exploit with Dezmond Briscoes Baby's Mama. It turns out that the publicized text messages were 100% real.  Dezmond actually owned up to the text messages, and apologized via twitter to Royce. Nevertheless, Royce is left to pick up the pieces as she must be humiliated. Royce blogged,

"One thing a lot of you don’t know about me is I’m a 100% committed to anything I put my name on. In a relationship comes humility. When I decided to do this show I vowed to be open, and honest about all aspects of my life that I could. I’m human! I don’t portray myself to be anyone I am not. I go to the grocery store in sweats and sneakers like everyone else. Because I’m on TV doesn’t mean I don’t hurt or that I don’t go through the same trials and tribulations as everyone else. We, Reality Stars, are put in a very vulnerable position when we sign up for these shows. No matter what we go through, the good, the bad, the ugly, when we walk outside we get recognized and judged. I’m not going to put on a front like I’m okay. My heart hurts.

Do I think Dezmon loves me? Yes! Do I think what he did was wrong? Absolutely. Are we done…forever? Honestly, I don’t know. Readers can say I’m dumb if I go back, but with relationships come mistakes. I was lied to and lesson learned…I entertained it on Twitter. I let the drama get to me despite being told to ignore it. That was my immaturity in this experience coming out. I admit that. Yes, I’m embarrassed, humiliated and broken. But I’m strong. Regardless of what happens I will be okay. Do I love him? Yes. Is that enough to stay? At this point, no. I entertained the mother of his son because I trusted what I was told and I stood by him as I should have. Was I the fool? Yep! Do some find it funny that I have egg on my face? Sadly yes, but that means they are lacking happiness and love in their own lives hence them basking in another person’s hurt. Ignorance is bliss but it’s also dangerous.

As far as the logistics go…”At the end of the day” (Jen voice) he will not be with her. So the rant she went on and my responses change nothing for her life. Not only do I look like a fool in love, but she looks like a bitter, jealous and angry “Baby Momma.” That’s worse. Fact is, they were never an item. They were never a couple. But for just under a year, she has been angry that he has been with me. Her twitter name was @dezbriscoejrmom…That was her identity. If you go thru her page (she obviously wanted followers and a platform, so I’m giving it to her) you will see how angry she was that we were together. She spoke about the cruise we went on, him saying he loved me, wanted to marry me, etc. If she didn’t care, why talk about it? If you didn’t watch the show, why do you know every minute of our scenes as if you were commentating? I’m sure she wonders why she was never “the one” to marry but just “the one” to do before he met me. I can’t imagine what Dezmon is feeling right now because, again, I was with my son’s father for four years despite the drama we are going through. So I can’t imagine having a child by someone who never claimed me or never had me front and center at some point. My son puts a smile on my face everyday so no matter what happens I know as long as I’m a good mother that in itself completes me when he wipes my tears, I clean his boo boos, and I get that hug and kiss.

Christina,

Do you feel better about yourself? Denying a man his child through texts (why didn’t you post those?) because he is with someone else. Stating in direct message he will never see his son, or that I will never meet him, that you’re going to file for custody when you’ve had several court order that had to be given to you for you to “let” him see his child never looks good to a judge. Trust me! When you have proof on your side you have nothing to worry about. That’s why I can be worry free. You on the other hand, shouldn’t be. The position you just put yourself in, I hurt for you as a mother because you have pretty much signed away your son. I dread that court date for you. I tried to speak to you respectfully on DM and you just “didn’t get it.” I tried to HELP you. But your jealousy got the best of you. Now you’re asking for an apology? For what? For ruining a relationship you were jealous of because he didn’t want you? You still lost. I feel sorry for you.

To my readers,

Thank you for the outpouring of love. To the hecklers, what life have you lived to find this funny? It’s so sad that we now live in a world where love is frowned upon and marriage is no longer taken as a life long vow. We live in a world where it’s funny to see someone hurt and heartbroken. I’m a hopeless romantic and I’d rather be a fool that’s happily in love than a depressed soul that has no heart. Will Dezmon and I work things out? I don’t know. Up until 4 AM I’ve heard tears, apologies, and I’ve seen humility. Maybe this is a mistake that he needed to learn from. Maybe this is a mistake that caused him to really realize what he had. Yes, he sent them but no, it didn’t happen. I’d be dumb to base the status of my relationship based on my followers who have never seen us outside of a camera and TV show vs. what I’ve heard from HIM, his MOTHER, his AUNT, his FRIENDS, his TEAMMATES, and even MY MOTHER AND FATHER. You will see some emotional moments between my dad and I but for the first time ever, he believed this man loved me. Coming from someone married 41 plus years I believe that, and like he told me last night, forgiveness comes when proof of love is given by actions not just by words. Its up to me whether it actions are enough to walk thru the storm.
