Teena Marie Dies....

Teena Marie a Grammy Award-nominated R&B singer died at the age of 54 while in her home which is located in Pasadena. Apparently Marie died peacefully in her sleep, during Sunday nap.
Teena (Tina) Marie leaves a daughter behind named Alia Rose who is best known for singing under the pseudonym “Rose Le Beau”.
Although there has been no official cause of death released as of yet, there is speculation that it was due to a grand mal seizure because of the violent muscle contractions and as well a loss of consciousness which presented only one month prior to her death.

Marie worked closely with Rick James over the course of her career as well as a number of other Motown artists in the 70’s and 80’s.

Teen Marie was originally born Marie Christine Brockert and later changed her name when she started breaking into the music industry.

She started to reach the apex of her fame in the 70’s and 80’s with the songs like “Lovergirl” and “Ooo La La La”.
