WTF. Marine Band Claims Beyonce Lip Sang The National Anthem

What Is This World Coming To?  Haters were on the prowl last night, and they have continued their conquest today. Several sources are reporting that Beyonce's stellar performance last night at the Presidential Inauguration  2013 was pre-recorded, or lip sung. 

Huffington Post claims,

The R&B diva only pretended to sing, lip-syncing the words to a backing track. What the listeners heard was a version she had recorded at a Marine Corps studio in Washington on Sunday night, a spokeswoman for the Marine Band said.

The spokeswoman, Master Sgt. Kristin duBois, said the weather was good and the Marine Band had no trouble with intonation during most of the prelude and ceremony, nearly two and half hours of music. Still, at the last minute, she said, the band received word that Beyoncé would use a recorded version of the national anthem.

“We don’t know why,” Sergeant duBois said. “But that is what we were instructed to do so that is what we did. It’s not because Beyoncé can’t sing. We all know Beyoncé can sing. We all know the Marine Band can play.”
A publicist for Beyoncé did not immediately return telephone calls and e-mail messages.
Sergeant duBois said it is standard operating procedure to record the music for the inauguration in advance, in case the weather is bad and it becomes impossible for musicians to keep their instruments in tune. Four years ago, for instance, Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman and two colleagues used backing tracks during their performance at President Obama’s first inauguration because of the bitter cold.

It was not immediately clear who made the decision to ask Beyoncé to lip-sync the anthem on Monday, Sergeant duBois said. The band’s director, Col. Michael J. Colburn, received orders from the event’s organizers to switch to a backing track just before Beyoncé went on. “The entire performance was live except for the national anthem,” Sergeant duBois said.
Beyoncé recorded the song in a studio at the Marine Barracks Annex on Sunday night, using tracks already laid down by the Marine Band, Sergeant duBois said.

People never cease to amaze me; I  am apaulled at the amounts of shade that  seems to frequent Beyonce'. While, I can neither confirm nor deny these allegations, the story just seems too far fetched. I actually enjoyed her performance. Beyonce' is a great performer; whether the performance was pre-recorded or live is no concern of mine.  She delivered a stellar performance.  Of all things to shed light on during the Presedential Inauguration; Really a person with a rank as high as Master Sergant is concentrating on  leaking info to the press that Beyonce's is lip singing. President Obama gave his final speech yesterday. Needless to say, he held on to his emotions until the bitter end, as we watched our commander in cheif get teary eyed, I couldn't help but get a bit emotional too. 

CNN reports,

President Barack Obama delivered his final campaign speech in a chilly Des Moines, Iowa Monday night in remarks peppered with references to his 2008 campaign and the Iowa caucus victory that helped catapult his political career.
"I've come back to Iowa one more time to ask for your vote," Obama told the battleground crowd. "Help us finish what we started because this is where our movement of change began."

Beyonce has been known to pen a great letter from time to time. This was evident, when she encouraged Frank Ocean through her letter pen, and now it has become more evident as she pours her heart out in admiration of President Obama. Hip Hop's power couple continues to make history as they hang out with the President. Only, Beyonce' and Jay-Z can teach the President how brush his shoulders and the haters off.   Way to go Bey and Jay continue help the President, "Get That Dirt Off His Shoulders". Earlier today, Bey's other half, rap mogul Jay-Z, hit the stage on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief during a rally in Ohio where he declared, "I got 99 problems, but Mitt ain't one!"

The hip-hop royals have been riding with the President since his first campaign run in 2008. Earlier this year, they helped him raise $4 million at a glitzy fundraiser worth $40,000 a plate at Jay's 40/40 Club.

What Is This World Coming To? Today, as I received a text message with our President Barack Obama hanging from a Shell gas station I was enraged, and apolled at the level of ignorance that attention seekers will result to.   At first glance I, thought this was a hoax but, now  CNN has confirmed that this is indeed a very real  incident.  Just last week, another attention seeker, decided that he would, hang an Obama (Effigy) Doll in his front yard. I wonder if the two incidents are related.   I will not subject myself to any rude remarks or negative slander in response to this foolery. I will however, suggest that this ignorant incident should be motivation for all Obama supporters to pack the polls tomorrow to vote. This is indeed, one of the most disrespectful racial gestures known to man.  I am in utter disgust.

What Is This World Coming To?- Another idiotic episode targets President Obama.  A california resident reported a neighbor with a hanging Obama Doll dangling from a tree in his front yard. Apparently, neighbors took offense to this insane gesture an resulted to reporting it. Nevertheless, this ignorant tactic is being addressed by the perpertraitor as a " harmless halloween gesture", blown way out of porportion. However, it is well within reason to believe that an  image of anyone being hung, was never done with  good intentions. I wonder if the secret service, is willing to chalk this up to being a harmless halloween prank.  Check out the video footage.

A homeowner in Southern California got a visit from the Secret Service earlier this week, after he hung a depiction of President Obama from a tree in his front yard.

Neighbors of Eddie Million complained that the effigy of the President hanging from a noose was disturbing and disrespectful, while another man told reporters that the decoration was racially offensive due to the nation's history of lynching Black men.

Million explained that the effigy was meant to be "something spooky" and a harmless Halloween decoration. He told reporters, “This is just a misunderstanding. This is getting all blown out of proportion. It’s down. It’s gone. We didn’t want to hurt the president. It was just for a party.”

Nonetheless, Secret Service took the matter more seriously and paid him a visit to deliver a stern warning. “They said that [incident] could have been construed as a threat to the president,” said Million. “They said my name is going to be on file. They said they’re just going to make a note…”

Million admits that putting up the noose was a "bad" idea that he regrets.   

Was this a harmless Halloween prop, or does this type of imagery have a deeper meaning.
