Evelyn Lozada's tearful interview with Iyanla Vanzant photo credit: OWN |
In case you live in a cave, and are unaware of the details surrounding Evelyns sad space right now. Evelyn married Chad Ochocinco on Independence Day this year, and by August 12 this year, she and Ochocinco couldn't have been any less in sync. Ochocinco was arrested and estranged after he so violently headbutted Evelyn. Many people speculated that Evelyn's aggressive persona could've caused him to behave so violently. However, Evelyn did not buy into it. She gave a formal statement to the police, and proceeded to file for a divorce, an astonishing 39 days into the marriage.
Evelyn has been highly criticized, and publically scrutinized for her temperamental behavior, that aired during the taping of Basketball Wives. While Evelyn has become a household name, she made just as many enemies as she did fans. After watching this interview, I think she will have gained an entirely new fan club. The interview strips Evelyn from the fame, and ironically enough, exposes her as the same character that so many of us identify with. The insecure girl, in search of love. As harsh as it may seem, it just happens to be reality for so many young women today. Check Out Evelyn Lozada 's " Fix My Life".
Here is a clip of part 2 of Evelyn Lozada's " Fix My Life" with Iyanla Vanzant. Iyanla touches on some great points. She actually touches bases with the real reason she believes that Evelyn ended up in this world wind of disaster. She believes that Evelyn had some signs that she ignored, that led up to that dreadful day in August, when Chad headbutted her. I am such an Evelyn Lozada fan, and it pains me to see her in turmoil. Keep ya head up Ev.
